Pregnancy Tests

If you have had unprotected sex, or have missed your period, you might be wondering if you are pregnant. Some pregnancy symptoms can be related to other issues or circumstances. The first thing you may want to do is take a pregnancy test. We offer lab-quality pregnancy testing at our center at no cost to you.

Limited OB Ultrasounds

If you have a positive test, an ultrasound will help estimate how far along you are; that the pregnancy is located in the uterus; and that there is a fetal heartbeat. Choices performs ultrasounds from 6-14 weeks after your last menstural cycle.

Ultrasound is only offered in our Charleston Office. Mattoon, Paris, & Casey offices refer clients to our Charleston office to receive an ultrasound.

Pregnancy Options

At Choices, some of us have been right where you are. We want you to be informed on all of your pregnancy options. When a woman is facing an unexpected pregnancy, she may want information on abortion, the abortion pill, adoption, etc. Each option has its own set of risks, complications and long term impacts. We're here to provide you with accurate information so you can weigh your options and make the best decision for YOU.

Parenting Support

Pregnancy & parenting can be filled with many unknowns. Our staff are here to encourage and support you with an amazing program called, Earn While You Learn (EWYL). The program will allow you to prepare to be a great parent and earn the things you need for your child! EWYL is very simple and designed for your specific needs.

Material Assistance

We understand that every baby comes with the need for many material supplies such as car seats, cribs, diapers and formula. If you need a lot, you can earn all those things by being a part of the Earn While You Learn program. If you just need a little help, we will do all we can to help you with what you need on your journey of parenthood.

Post Abortion Support

There is no right or wrong way to feel after your abortion. Every woman’s experience is unique to her. Relief, anger, sadness, and hope can all exist at one time. That may be confusing, but it’s also normal. You are not alone. Some of our staff have been right where you are. Deciding to seek help may be one of the toughest decisions to make, but it may also be one of the best. Our center is here to help you work through those feelings in a compassionate and safe place.

Adoption Referrals

Considering adoption can be confusing. There is a lot information to sift through. We aren't an adoption facility, but we have a network of credible and professional adoption agencies in the area to which we can refer you. In addition to a list of approved agencies, we are here to help you process your thoughts and feelings towards placing your baby for adoption.

Community Assistance Referrals

We understand that often there is more than parenting resources that you need. We are grateful to work with other local organizations to provide you with the community and financial resources that can guide you into a stable future for you and for your child.
